New to the hills but keen to get out and explore our landscape safely and with confidence? This one or two day course will give you an overview of the basic skills, equipment and knowledge for those vital first experiences and a lifetimes enjoyment.
Navigation is a fundamental skill for hill walking which will increase your enjoyment and safety in the British hills and further afield. This course will challenge your preconceptions of what is possible with just a map and a compass. We will get lost and we will walk around in circles but by the end of the training you should have a good personal strategy for navigating and have gained plenty of confidence in your new skills.

MTN Safety can work with you throughout the British Stunt Register certification process from your very first steps on the rock to rigging your first anchors and leading your first multi pitch climbs to guidance and training in developing your logbook.
